Our white stoneware clay is processed to remove impurities and air pockets before the forms are thrown. The clays and glazes used by DSP have been tested through years of production.  Care is taken to assure that all materials are food safe, durable and attractive. The stoneware clay withstands temperatures up to 2250 degrees during firing.   The high temper glazes become stronger as they are heated.
